Deceiving

Used total av once a couple of years ago and charged me $100. Worked with pop ups for about a month but the virus never went away as advertised. Frequent pop us now but I got a charge for $99 out of the blue without my consent. Could of used that during this hard time...

Plans and pricing hard to figure out

I have had total av for a year, it was fine. got an email about a month before renewal saying they will charge credit card, that was fine, figuring they would charge my card the same as last year, which was 32.99. Realized my credit card number may have changed so told them that, and yes they had wrong card #. Went to update my card on totalav account and noticed the invoice was for $99!!!!! So I sent email to person who told me how to put my credit card on acct., nothing. used the chat feature on my acct., person said nope price was 99 and I would get 5 licenses. told them i did not want 5 licenses, wanted the same thing as last year at same price. chat person wasn't helpful, waiting for the person I sent email to respond, then get notice ...أظهر المزيد
Partially Efficient

Total Av appears to be relatively efficient and having the extra options would have been great except the monetary cost was too high. It would also have been very nice if Total Av was able to delete another anti-virus system named "Reimage" which I did not purchase but after visiting their website to avail myself of some information, this system has lodged itself in my computer in such a way that I cannot delete this nuisance along with its constant spam.

had a PUP issue
this shows as AntivirusService and Antivirus Client in task manager
AV did not even find this
MalwareBytes found 616 entries, deleted them all in a fraction of the time it took AV to run
don't waste your money and time on AV
can't leave a google review for AV, that says it all i recon

I have been using for awhile now and have no problems in any department. If something comes up I am notified I deal with it . I can't rate a 5 because nothing is totally exempt. I will keep using Total AV for as long as needed
